we're building the social
layer for airports

because scrolling twitter at gate B7 is getting old.

the origin story

it started with a 6-hour layover in bengaluru. solo. phone at 12%. no outlet in sight.

looked around and saw dozens of other travelers in the same situation—headphones in, faces lit by screens, completely disconnected from everyone around them.

airports are one of the only places where complete strangers share the same destination, the same wait times, and often the same boredom. yet we all just... sit there. alone.

that felt wrong.

so we built flamingo. a simple way to find your people at the airport. whether you're looking for someone to grab coffee with, a local with insider tips about your destination, or just another human to commiserate about the delayed flight.

travel used to be about the people you meet. we're bringing that back.

what we believe

human-first

technology should bring people together, not isolate them. every feature we build starts with 'how does this help travelers connect?'

safety always

we take trust seriously. verified travelers, privacy controls, and instant reporting. your safety is non-negotiable.

globally local

airports are temporary communities. we help you find your people wherever you are in the world.

serendipity

the best travel stories start with chance encounters. we're just making those moments easier to find.

the team

we're a small crew of frequent flyers, digital nomads, and people who've had one too many lonely layovers. we're building the app we wish existed.
